It's been about 6 years since I've had this name. And it was on a whim, so I've never liked it. PRETTY MUCH IT WAS A MISTAKE OF MY YOUTH. I will remember you forever, but now it's time for a change ufufufu.

HOLY SHIT.

I've been 24 for 46 minutes already *SOB*

David also turned 18 two days ago, and I got him booze for his birthday. Funny enough, my parents were like "Sure O.o"

It's not everyday an Asian can go around saying that, seriously.

Apparently I can get a creme brulee cake. Omnomnom I'll take it.

AS FOR MY BIRTHDAY RESOLVE: Stop being a lazy arsehole.

HEY EVERYONE.

I've actually been back for a week already [whoops] but never made a post because I wanted to make an EPIC TRIP POST with PICTURES and everything.

However, the camera is my brother's possession and he hasn't uploaded up anything. IE I have no pictures to share.

LAME.

So just to say first, AWESOME TRIP, BUT I'M STILL TIRED FROM IT. It's pretty impressive because this has been the longest period of recovery time after a trip ever, and I'm still not over it. I blame the final plane trip, because it really sucked balls.

So next post I'll go into detail.

I'll put up teasers though, of shit that happened to us because that's the most funniest:

1. Only 1/2 an hour into the trip [being that we're still at Sydney airport], David was almost detained for having explosive dust on his shoes. It turned out that the dust was because of the poppers he sells at a novelty store at work, and that dust is the same crap used in bombs. WELL.
Quote of the moment:
David: "Am I going to be on Border Security?"
Staff member: "No that's only for people returning home."
David: "DAMMIT"
So no chance for being on TV yet, bro.

2. In Lantau Island in Hong Kong, where the world's largest Buddha statue is, fog started to roll in, and we didn't see shit. So Dad and David's climb to see the Buddha ended up with only seeing his feet and the giant lotus. By the end of the day, all we saw was WHITE FOG. And that was one of the most interesting parts of the HK trip lol.

3. In the Japan leg of the trip, one of us had to get food poisoning. It turned out to be me. But what on? Starbucks. THAT'S NOT EVEN WORTH THE ADVENTURE OF FOOD POISONING. But it's dangerous; not only was I puking up a storm, I couldn't even sleep because I was so high on caffeine.

4. During a visit to the oldest Zen Temple in Kyoto, which only opens up during certain times of year, Dad accidentally stepped into one of the zen gardens, thus ruining the sand patterns. While escaping, instead of jumping onto the pathway, he ran back STILL on the zen garden. If any imbalance happened or the spiritual flow was broken, WE KNOW WHY.

AND THAT'S ALL FOR NOW. *SALUTES*

So guys, tomorrow [well today, cos it's 1am], I'm off to Hong Kong and Japan. It'll be a family adventure, because we're almost literally in boxes this time and living on a complete tightarse living budget.

HELL YEAH. This means more money to spend on just everything else, and if I'm out, I'll busk. *no I didn't bring an instrument, unless the piano fits in my luggage haha].

So after about a million years, I decided to change my layout. I returned back to using the Flexible Squares css [noooooo...] which is easy as hell but overused [and lacks about a billion links for the comment bar which I need nowadays] until I remembered I could make themes and change that *what a loser*.

So I got an old Kagrra layout, totally revamped it, and so here it is:

All the new css I had to learn for this *SOB* SO behind the times. Oh well, I always liked this picture, Kagrra has the best album cover arts I swear. I might change colours later but right now, can't be arsed >>

So, finished uni for this year, well, nearly, I just have one assessment interview to rock up too in which they tell me about my piece, and then I'm really done.

Have been catching up on sleep.

But it is too hot to sleep.

On the other hand, roadtrip was amazing, and on Halloween, all we did was play poker and watch a terrible movie of a Halloween theme. In other words, we watched Twilight.

I WANT MY TWO HOURS OF LIFE BACK.

So I was going through my old music folders, and my love for Alice Nine is reignited. However, also during looking through my songs, I stumbled across this icon of Shou, AND I DON'T REMEMBER WHO MADE IT. But holy crap it's epic. [It's him singing in the Akatsuki PV, but totally taken out of connotation.] My icons are becoming more and more uncool 8(

Meanwhile, I found cheap hosting: http://www.justhost.com/ Ironically while hunting for code for my HTML assignments. Not sure if they're great, but they were in an award list *forgets which* and cheaper than most places with unlimited. Maybe will give it a shot >_>

Late DGM rant. Sooooo disappointed in the latest chapter. 50 pages of almost nothing happening. Most overhyped chapter in the series yet. It probably would not have been as bad was it not for that huge hiatus gap. Kanda's past revealed! Lies =(

Anywhoo, it's that time of year again, the RECOMMEND AMY SOME SERIES TO READ/WATCH/PLAY 8D Cos I feel so out of the loop with everything, especially when my net gets so slow so often, so now I dunno what's good or not out of the new things 8(;;; Still keeping up with the old stuff though. So rec awaaaay.

We all know Oguri Shun, the heartthrob in various Japanese dramas.

For those who don't, he looks like this. The nice boy, or the aloof one.

So I was digging through my old music files, when I stumbled an oddly named video file I never remembered having. Well, I remember having it, but it wasn't the name I thought it was under.

Some time in the middle of highschool, Iva gave me this to watch: Click me and watch boys in shorts.

Basically, my first reaction then was "HOLY CRAP IS THAT SKINNY GUY WEARING SHORTS?!" Skinny guy being Yamashita Tomohisa [who, sadly enough, Mum kind of eyehumps now. Way to ruin my childhood. But hey, at least he started getting a pretty good body for a Japanese idol. I approve of them muscles, because they're not bones. MOVING ALONG...] I never really cared for NEWS, even after Iva's "But those shorts make him look cute >8", and I'm still so-so over them, although I admire how far they have gotten.

Anyway, after the initial shock of "How the hell did he brave those shorts", it took another realisation that Yamapi is less than a year older than me, and that Tegoshi is definitely younger [I forget about Massu, but I think he is younger too.] What's freaky is that all this time before maybe last year, I thought these punks were a lot older than me, because of what they have acheived, which is a total misconception, since you can acheive awesomeness at a young age too.

But seriously, if I was in high school while these boys were already making hit songs, and we're all about the same age, then what the hell have I been doing all this time? It then reminded me of w-inds, who Molly, Candice and Iva were into [cos cool dance moves ftw], and then remembered that one of their charms was they were around the same age as us. It just lead us to relate to them more. In this case, I'm relating to NEWS because they did a helluva things, whereas I'm here, slacking my arse off, deferred a couple of years, and only returned back to uni this year. SOB. BEATEN BY SOME PRETTY BOYS. [Who never gets beaten by them, seriously.]

Then I look at those shorts again and think "...Not worth it." Those be some amazing chicken legs you got there, Mini!Yamapi. *gets murdered by a legion of Yamapi fans*

I bet half this rant occurred because I SHOULD BE SLEEPING...NOT DIGGING UP OLD FILES...zzzzzzzz.
